Baby Bump Update

Since I haven't posted a baby bump picture in so long here is one from week 15

After I became pregnant I stopped being able to make normal faces in pictures and instead always look like I'm about to say something, even when I think I'm just smiling normally.

Exciting news on the homefront, my husband and I might have found a house to move in to, after much thought we agreed that the house we live in just isn't ideal for raising a baby, the nursery would be far too tiny, there's no closet in the room and it's in the basement. We're going to look at a house on monday with four bedrooms! I have no idea what would go in two out of four of those bedrooms but yay for space!

Modern Baby Bedding

I have been having a really hard time picking out bedding for our crib, our entire nursery is completely modern, well that is completely modern in our heads, we have another coat of mud to go on the drywall before I can even think about paint colors. So after much searching I think I finally found the bedding that I am happy with, from BabyBedding. I love the modern look and simplicity of it. Very cute!

It's been a while!

Whhheeww. It's been quite some time since my last blog post, I became very sick after week six of my pregnancy and had no energy to do anything except sleep, I am happy to say I got my energy back and am slowly starting to feel better! So that means more blog posts to come!

I am on week 16 of my pregnancy now, 11 more days until we find out the sex of the baby. We are planning a gender reveal party (more on that later) I am so excited for it. If you haven't heard before a gender reveal party is where you announce the sex of your baby, some people choose to have the ultrasound tech seal it in an envelope then take it to a baker and have them bake pink or blue inside of the cake then at the party the couple cuts in to the cake and reveals the gender to themselves and the rest of their friends and family. We are doing it a bit differently, my husband decided he doesn't want to know the gender until the party, I can't wait so I will be finding out and baking cupcakes for everyone to bite in to at the same time. We can't wait!!

I found this awesome idea that I'm definitely going to get for my baby it's a bottle holder for a car seat so when you're driving you don't have to pull over when baby throws its bottle on the floor.

Week 6

I am EXHAUSTED! I literally dragged my butt out of bed only to lay on the couch all day. Growing a human is hard work! My husband and I told both of our parents over the weekend, both are very excited which was a relief. My mother in law proceeded to tell everyone in her family so I guess were not keeping it a secret until the second trimester!

This morning I woke up very nauseous but was fine after I ate some food, I'm hoping I can get through this without any morning sickness! I've been craving egg salad sandwiches but can't stand the smell of them so it makes it very difficult to eat them. I've had the last couple days off of work because I've been so tired but I'm back to work tomorrow and not looking forward to it, hoping I don't fall asleep there.

Anyways I think I need to go take another nap!
